making Soap and Other Endeavors

SOAP, SOAP AND MORE SOAP!!!
WOW....

It's been a very busy weekend.
I have a show coming up at the end of March so product making was in order.
200 lip balms, 36 body butters, 60 bars of soap.....
that's just a start, I still have bath teas, bath oils and more soap to make.

I'm also revamping my show display. Most of my display pieces are
made of wrought metal so changing the look is quite easy.
Krylon is my best friend.
I'll post picks when I get everything finished.

ARE YOU GOING TO FIX ME?

I'm still working on the floor lamp and yes, I did find the missing piece.
ALMOST THERE!!!
Well it's time for me to re-enter that other world (work)
so I'll have to cut this short.
What was your weekend like?

Till next time,
Bonjour

I'm going to have to learn how to make soap. I think you've caught my interest in another future hobby (just what I need). Also, I can't wait to see your lamp. Red is my signature color.
Hugs, Jess

I had thought I would make soap this winter...I have run out of time. I admire your energy!

I read a several of your past posts: love how you discribed your home. The house I grew up in from 7th grade on was an old school house my dad bought. He worked on it for a year turning it into a home while we lived there! During the summer we would wake up and people would be camping on our lawn...I guess that was an ok thing to do at rural schools. My brother and his wife have the house now...he says every once in a while someone (usually on a bicycle)spends the night on the lawn. :)

I think it's great that you are able to sell so much of your homemade items. It must be a a good supplement to your income. :)

I'm feeling the red Jess, it has always been my favorite color.

Hey Lynda, no one has tried to camp in our yard but for about 2 years we did get people coming down the drive looking for the party!

Nancy, yes it's great to have a little extra income and we hope to be selling honey soon also.

Thanks Inger, extra money is a blessing and This place needs alot of it.
I'm glad you're feeling better.
